Research, Education & Conservation
The mission of our organization is to seek answers through scientific research on various aspects of the species that make up the biological family Canidae. We also aim to promote education in various subjects of different species of canids, and promote the conservation of their species and ecosystems, in conjunction with animal welfare.
OUR VISION
The vision of our organization is a world where all the species of the biological family Canidae thrive, and people through best available scientific knowledge can learn to coexist, conserve and recognized of the importance of those species and their habitats.
Who we are
We are a non-profit organization, whose objectives are aimed at scientific research, education, conservation and dissemination of information on the different species that make up the Canidae family.
Understanding aspects of Biology, Ecology, Evolution, Behavior, Health and Conservation of different canid species, as well as promoting the animal welfare of these species is an essential part of Canine Specialists International.
Our organization believes strongly in both individual and group efforts that seek to generate knowledge and strategies for the protection of the 37 current species of canids and their coexistence with humans.
